Our Vision
We envision a caring community where older adults have access to the services and support that they need to age well, staying connected with their community and living in their homes with confidence, security, hope, and dignity. We imagine LOWLINC developing as an organization with increasing influence as an advocate for older adults, encouraging an increase in community-wide services which will allow members to live fulfilling lives.
Our Mission
LOWLINC, through its programs and volunteer services, will continue to empower older adults to live independently in our community and to be healthy, happy, socially connected, and secure in their homes for as long as they are able.
What We Do
LOWLINC offers older adults at Lake of the Woods opportunities and choices to live safely and independently in their homes with the following:

Services for members, provided by volunteers (transportation, light home maintenance, friendly visits, check-in calls, errands, tech support, service provider lists, and more)
- Engaging social activities for members and volunteers
- Health/wellness and educational opportunities for members, volunteers and others in the community, often in collaboration with other organizations.
